Why there no is a a ban system for leavers, that if u leave a game you cant join a game for 10 minutes, and increase it if you continue leaving games. Dave new god add this to the game.

So if it is a fail game... they still get banned for it?

Really stupid idea. Might work for scenarios, doesn't for world games/3v3s/cws/duels just don't. use the ban system instead.

I think there should be some sort of penalty for leavers, but I don't know that banning would be the right solution. Maybe a SP reduction, or something like that. I'm open to other ideas.

What about a pleathera of other situations? Like disconnection issues? Or perhaps its late in the game and it ran much longer then expected (some scenario can stretch out three hours) there are many others aswell.

There should be pop up window if you click 'leave game' warning you about leaving, how that will ruin the game that waited very long to start and all players in it will not be able to continue if you proceed to leave. Maybe also included 'There is a high chance players will ban you if you leave and that will leave you with less games to play in the future'.

Is true, but there should be a report system, were you can send an inform to a mod, and if someone get 3 report from leaving of different games, mods can punish them.

Maybe we could add it like an option to allow leaving?

Personally speaking from the perspective of a competitive player when we leave it is with good reason, but I guess people in other areas of the game face different issues so could we just add it as an option for the host to disallow leaving?

Depends on what situation though.

I mean like 4 months ago when ww2 was played by scen and competitive together, the game sometimes lasted for like 6 to 8 hours. I dont know about you guys, but I am sure most people, I know I don't, just do not always have the time for it, especially if your team already lost like 10 turns ago, yet they demand you to stay and ''play it out'' or else you're banned. Alot of scenarios (no pun intended) like these are imaginable. And I think punishing people in scenarios like these will ruin the actual experience of it.

You guys might say now: ''We'll make an exception for scenarios like these.'', but where do you draw the line? In your eyes it might be normal to game 6 to 8 hours daily, in anothers eyes it might not. I think implementing things like this will be walking on thin ice.

People! Have you lost your mind? With the most respect possible, I play with my friends at school, but we can never finish a game because the class lets out, I don't want to loose SP for that, sorry if i'm getting hyped up, it's just, I like the game but maybe there needs to be a game mode where its okay to leave.It could be set up when you start the game you click a check box if its ok to leave or not, it really should depend on the situation.

Just use the ban system. It easily covers for all the exceptions to leaving that don't involve throwing the game for your teammates.

That wouldn't work, that is a lot of things Mod's have to do.

Stop finding ways to punish those who leave and start thinking of ways to reward those who stay.

Why not implement basic minimum leaving turn for all games ?
prior to which automatic ban of x for all leavers when game begins ?
remainers receive equal share of leavers sp.

This temporarily ban would only work for a GGG( scenario) or RP because it doesn't matter if someone leaves in a FFA
