I've been talking about doing this for a long time, and now finally it's here.

Here's how it works:
To send ProtoCoins
- Go to the user profile of the person you want to send to.
- Click the "Send ProtoCoins" button:
- You'll see a popup like this:
- Enter the amount you want, and click "Send".
There is a small fee for sending ProtoCoins: 5%, with a minimum fee of 10PC.
You can also DONATE ProtoCoins to tournaments:
- Go to your own user profile.
- Click the "Donate ProtoCoins" button:
- You'll see a popup like this:
- Enter the amount you want, and type the name of the tournament it's for, then click "Send".
There is NO FEE for donating ProtoCoins.
The ProtoCoins you donate go directly into the Supporter Team's Tournaments Fund. If you're not familiar with it, this is the fund I set up about a year ago, which the Supporter's Team uses to payout for PC drop games, tournaments, and other events.
When you specify the name of the tournament you're donating to, as long as it's an officially-sanctioned tournament, the ProtoCoins are marked accordingly and will be reserved only for that tournament. At the completion of the tournament, a Supporter or Moderator will send out the winnings from this fund.
What do I mean by "officially-sanctioned tournament"? Tournaments are hosted by many different people throughout the year -- If a tournament is being hosted by any member of staff (Supporter, Moderator, or Admin), it is automatically considered officially-sanctioned. Otherwise, the host of the tournament needs to contact us first and ask if we will officially support it. (If we agree to support it, then you can use the official donations system, plus we will probably (time permitting) promote your tournament around atWar and on social media.)
If you have any questions, just reply to this post.
Cheers
