New Mods

I want to talk about our mods we have 17 current mods in which 4 of them are active daily basis in game and forum
the lost timezone gap where there is no mod online is annoying like Hell no one mod is not enough for asia or 1 active in game mod for europe is not enough either so i come to conclusion that we need at least 2+3 new mods to fill the position

Approved. On the other side.. Mods will only choose . . "trustworthy, good members" like toptrap. So, whatever. One or less unable mod, it makes no difference.

Timezones don't really seem to matter now, since we established that the bulk of players are from the America's/Europe, with a small minority in Asia (I thought we had mods there already?). When new mods are added eventually, I believe they should be players who are more open and less strict, as opposed to our more strict current mods, as an experiment to see which type works better.

I know I'm new and all but It's true what polemarch is saying from what I can see, the mods that are online seem to be AFK most of the time.

Well, unless things are blowing up, I don't see a reason for a new mod. And I lol'd at Tik Tok being mod.

Why mods disagree on this?
you mods want to keep it as it is right now "exclusive" with few members that most are not even coming online to feel better ? if so kick inactive mods and make new active ones

I do agree that mods need to be more MODerate. Most of them are quite good, but I've had some draconian ones. What if we rotated modship over a few willing players so a few would have mod duty for a month and then revert back to being a regular player. This would supplement our current system, not replace it.

I actually think that in-game moderation is alright. At least I didn't encounter any problems with mods in game. I cannot say they are to inactive.
There could be one or two qualified mods only responsible for the forum though. Some mods don't care at all about the forum, the others choose to act after their own values and liking (I.e. suggestions with simple solutions get closed by a mod because he dislikes the idea, while other more complicated things stay open), acting very unqualified. The result is a forum full of mess and at least a few spam posts in every thread. The structure of this board is semi-optimal and the mods being unable to properly moderate it make it almost a pain to watch into.

Desu would make a great mod.

Are you serious? There's been too many mods since they added more than just Guest to the mod roster. Pls don't continue to drive this game into the mod ground.

Alot of people will actually say no to this. But Im actually a very good moderator. I mod a few chats and the odd chan. I've been asked or about modding a few times in various places but Im usually not into the areas enough or prefer the independence. Im actually very fair and always abide by rules. The Ban List I have is very fair and I only added 2 people for personal reasons because I consider the map my property and the two players were deeply disrespectful. I've taken them off the list since though because it's bullshit to ban for personal reasons.

But I wouldnt do that as a mod. I've had people attempt to ban me in this game, others who hate me and when asked if they should be banned, I've always said no and wanted to give chances to people I deeply despise.

I'd actually be a very, very, very good mod in atwar. Im quite active, I contribute and I have alot of experience but to be honest, I'd likely turn it down. If I was made a mod, I wouldn't be able to bitch about World Jewry in room chat and I like doing that.

I would support you, if it weren't that we already have too many mods.

Im going to be on monday thru friday for the next 4 years excluding summers. My school system is stupid and gave everyone macbooks. Ive bipassed all there proxys and can play whenever i want or do whatever i want.
