Popin' alotta anger... But yea seriously, I think that this does help although we don't actually see the impact yet. There are game sites, there are forums about various games, there at tons of people using those, so if we can talk about atWar in sites like these, people might be interested in checking atWar, and this way the aim of spreading atWar will have moved towards completion. Ofc who knows if it'll be better with more players, but Ivan and amok want to spread aw, and that's the reason of this "helper" position.
I'm pretty sure that Ivan or amok or the mods check before awarding someone with the "helper" position.
And the dots are not irritating, it's just a dot, why does it? Anyways, I think it fulfills the purpose of spreading aw, but aw could be a turmoil with more low ranks joining and trolls spamming chat. We'll see where it goes.

Dbacks is right. As long as people don't have to show proofs of what they did to advertise atWar, the title Elite is bullshit. So far everybody who said 'i could help' got it. Means nothing.

Yeah sorry but I'm feeling the same about it, most people are just saying stuff just so they can get a neat symbol beside their name and look good. Honestly if you are helping you shouldn't need a symbol, your actions will be seen and that alone will make you stand out in the community. I know this is sort of to help recognize players who may do a bit more behind the scene things to help, but it really isn't accomplishing that for the most part. If anything yeah it feels kind of aggravating when I see players who as far as I'm concerned have done completely nothing have this symbol beside their name lol.
