Standard settings

Could it be possible for world games to be set standard to EU+ with chance of rare units set to none and extra cities on? That is the most played setting so it would make sense to have that as standard settings.
Edit: the no rare units and extra cities would only be set if the player has premium

You have the 'Game Options' package. What are you worried about?

Support making extra cities and rare units none the standard settings. However, I think that it is best to keep the world map as the standard because it is the base of the game and includes the entire default map, not just one portion.

Premium users can change it.

But wouldn't it be easier if it was pre-set

Perhaps without changing the default, there could be a new option titled "Settings preset" under the map preset selection.
