This is a typical situation for a scenario player... Attacking a trench with storm and kruups. The trench have -10 defense against storms, but since your kruups have better attack (7 attack storm, 8 attack kruups) the kruups will attack first. This is clearly not good for you as your troops will be fighting the trench with it's full defensive points.

You want your storms with 7 attack to fight the trench with 15 def, than your kruups with 8 attack to fight the trench with 25 def.

I've been thinking several ideas but they could potentially lead to flaws or infinite loops... so I wonder if anyone can suggest a change for this problem.

Dude can we fucking ban clovis please? He's still trying to change strategies to scenarios after being told sooooo many fucking times that's now how strategies change. Change the map not the strategy simple fucking logic.

Actually I play both and the admins said they balance strategy of moderator feedback on the world map.

actually, taking into consideration that only about 7 people in atwar know how to use the map editor properly..... it could be possible to make adjustments to non-europe custom maps using their input.

Do you mean that this case is specifically restricted to WW1? This, in fact, applies to all other custom maps / scenarios that implement some kind-of bonus for the attacker and I could bring you examples about them if you wished to. Your call.

But I can also give an example of this issue with the default map. What do you think that would happen if a DS player attack an infantry stack using destroyers and helis?

Archers are 210$ and 7HP that in itself makes them useless

People still think there is a bonus in cities because they "tested it in private" (they actually tried it 2-3 times and said "yes, it works, uraaa").

Nah problem is that there is no constant shit and defending bonuse cannot be noticed at attacking so no one noticed that it didnt exist at all(considering half aw are people that goes some attacking strat like noobs too)

I sent over 30k funds to Russia, killed kebabs with 20 dreadnaughts, and sent over 10k more funds to my allies across Europe as france in WWI and we still lost. And all because my heavy artillery attacked before my tanks which had a massive bonus vs trenches so I had no heavy attack to whipe out Wgerman general.
