How Good Is The Strategy 'Sky Menace?'

I have the SP to buy it and all, but I want to know how well it is first, for example, how weak are the land units, how much more powerful are the aerial units, and are the aerial units cheaper?

Every strategy is good.The question is are you good for it?-See the strategy is using you and not the opposite because a sneaky player plays MoS or GW because he's sneaky and a strategist while the TC player uses brute force and shitloads of packs.It depends of you not on the tactic.

If you are going to play on land will you use Naval commander?-No, you won't because each situation requires a precise type of strategy and that precise type depends on you.The question is HOW ARE YOU GOING TO USE IT.

-HOW?
-WHERE?
-WHY?

Only you have the power to answer your question, no one besides you can answer it.

Well I like using a huge air force if I have the money I just wanted to know how the attack, defense, etc. of units changes while using this strategy.

So sense no one wants to just answer you....

I like Sky Menace myself. You gain massive amounts of mobility with it. The downside is taking cities. Since bombers can't, you need to ship in infantry, which either slows you right down, or requires the use of aerial transports. Coordinating the 2 parts can be a micromanagement pain.

SM works very well in Asia, since it allows you to advance quickly. In Europe it's not so useful, though it can still be powerful if used correctly.

The biggest limitation is costs though, it's useless in an African game and leave you vulnerable in the early game with limited cash

Sky Menace, since it relies on one big stack, is good for powering through your enemy and sitting in his capital. Then, if your stack was big enough, you'll keep it. If your enemy is savvy, he'll have retaken all the cities you took from him as you balzed through his lands, and then he'll attack you in full force.

One big stack? why would you do that? all you have to do it drop one unit on it to hold it in place.

Well, I don't actually know why, I don't play this bad strat. That's the way most people seems to use it though.

Can't tell you how interested I'd be to see a viable solution with this. 5k minus country costs, and if its that low price it'd have 1 city and shitty income should you want to have any money left over to buy bombers (4 stealths=1k, so no).

... just left a game where i almost got demolished by someone with sky menace. Oh, and BTW this game was 5k europe+.

Sky Menace is probably the best strategy late game, and definitely one of the best for dealing with PD infantry spam. You have to play REALLY carefully at the beginning to not run out of money early while still capping territories. Also, watch out for rushes.

What is 'rushing'

Going straight for home country, being aggressive on playeer mostly, not focusing on neutrals.

SM is good even with 10k, if u're a good player, just pick spain

SM Spain hard to counter...... Germany doesn't work well its more of a 50/50 chance of win there. I kinda wanna give MoS UK a try and see if that works.

MoS UK is pretty good. If it's +100 even better, because you have access to more coastal cities where you can use your overpowered subs.

Uk agaisnt SM Spain is possible. I've done it in a few 1v1s. Not easy though :/

SM spain is really easy to counter with France IronFist

Which is why you never pick first in 1v1.
