30.05.2017 - 19:24 Announcing the near completion of my new map, "The Defense of Outremer" Teams Christendom Kingdom of Jerusalem Principality of Antioch County of Tripoli Knights Templar Knights Hospitaller Islam Ayyubid Egypt Ayyubid Syria: North Ayyubid Syria: South Seljuq Turks Victory condition is capture cap and hold for 2 turns, the Muslims win when all Christians have been capped, the Christians in order to win, however, must survive until turn 30, when they will get an event spawn outside of the muslim caps which are otherwise inaccessible, similar to Endsieg. The Christians will be outnumbered by the Muslims, and must play smart and play defensively, cooperation between players is essential. The Templars and Hospitallers play a crucial role in the Christian defense, with the borders of Outremer being no go areas, the only way in is through castles held by the two orders, the Kingdom of Jerusalem and County of Tripoli also both have one city that can be captured and used for passage, and Antioch holds a border castle as well. An important feature for the Muslim team is the caravans, which allow troops to be quickly moved from cities far from Outremer such as Mosul and Baghdad to the front, the Seljuqs control one caravan route that can move troops from Baghdad to Transjordan and Syria, and Syria controls one that can move troops from Mosul to Northern Syria, in the area around Aleppo. As of now Outremer is done, and the Muslim lands are nearing completion, look for the scenario soon!

First test is finished, will buff Muslim reinforcements, and then publish. Edit: Buffed Muslim reinforcement count Buffed Ayyubid Footsoldiers Divided Ayyubid Syria into two players: North and South Added a troop event for the Seljuq Turks Turn 1 so they have something to do in the beginning Map will be published tomorrow.

Muslims are supposed to outnumber Christians, but that does sound a little extreme, maybe a slight nerf for Aleppo is in order, other than that in your opinion how was the balancing

you're absolutely right, every time I host it people constantly join, see that all the Christians are taken, and then leave, we can only ever get clueless low ranks to play the muslims, which makes it impossible to figure out if muslims need a buff or the players just have autism

It would be better to have crusaders survive 20 or 25 turns, if a decent person is playing as islam then youre automatically screwed, i managed to get to turn 15 with one of the crusaders missing so 20 might be good.
